Counseling
This is the typical counseling experience. It usually involves some sort of emotional issue like anxiety, depression, grief, anger, substance abuse, marital issues, parenting issues, etc.
Consulting
As I have stated in my bio, I have often offered consultation for hospitals. I also have a passion for helping churches and other organizations create a healthier framework for their staff. Workplace systems operate in much the same way as family systems. Applying the same theoretical models, I help organizations create a more emotionally/spiritually healthy workspace.
Coaching
Some people just need a little guidance or encouragement in their life. Maybe you feel unfulfilled in your job or are unsure what you need to do next. Sometimes parents just need a little guidance as they navigate issues with their children. Spiritual direction and guidance is also something people are looking for.
